Professor Taku KOMURA serves as the conference chair for the 18th ACM SIGGRAPH Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques (SIGGRAPH Asia 2025). The event is scheduled to take place from 15 to 18 December 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
SIGGRAPH Asia, an annual event that rotates around the Asian region, brings together some of the brightest minds in computer graphics and interactive techniques to exchange ideas, promote innovation, and advance immersive experiences and cutting-edge technology.
Professor Komura is a renowned expert in data-driven character animation, physical simulation, computer graphics, 3D modelling, and interactive techniques. As the conference chair of SIGGRAPH Asia 2025, he said, “We are thrilled to bring SIGGRAPH Asia back to Hong Kong. The city’s dynamic and innovative environment, combined with its strategic location and strong support from both the government and industry, makes it the perfect venue for our 2025 conference.
