Cathay Hackathon 2022
Cathay Hackathon welcomes all students to participate. This year, shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in “Power Sessions” and workshops. The activities will allow participants to explore the behind-the-scenes operations, gain insights from our subject matter experts, understand more about Cathay and technology trends, and ultimately collaborate to create innovative solutions for business challenges. Through taking part in this event, the top three participating teams will be given a priority to apply for our Digital & IT Summer Internship Programme or a fast-tracked application to our IT Graduate Trainee Programme.

PwC HackaDay 2022
PwC HackaDay 2022 will take place from 30 October 2022 to 12 November 2022. They are looking for two teams at maximum for each track (maximum 4 members per team). Students are welcome to participate in both tracks if they are interested. Please send the following details to Prof. S.M. Yiu (smyiu@cs.hku.hk) on or before 14 October 2022:
1) team name
2) name of team leader and the team members (nominate one team leader for each team)
3) faculty and year of study
4) contact details of all members (email and mobile phone)
A briefing session for all participants will be held on 24 October 2022. They strongly encourage each team to have at least one representative attending the briefing as they will be providing more details about the competition. It will also be a good opportunity for students to ask any questions they might have.
