Dr Yuxiang Yang is one of the eight HKU young scientists being awarded the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Hong Kong and Macau) by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, under the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) for 2023.
Dr Yang joined the Department of Computer Science in July 2021 as Assistant Professor. He is a quantum information theorist, and his research interests include quantum metrology, quantum information, quantum computation and quantum foundations.
