Six faculty members from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering have been conferred by-courtesy professoriate title in Computer Science. They are Professor Edmund YM Lam, Dr Xihui Liu, Dr Edith CH Ngai, Dr Evan Yifan Peng, Dr Xiaojuan Qi and Professor Hayden KH So. They will be affiliated with Computer Science research groups in "AI, Robotics and Visual Computing" or "Systems and Networking". This is a precedent arrangement within the Faculty of Engineering to further foster the collaboration on teaching and research between the two Departments.
