The "FinTech Four" team which comprised of four BASc(FinTech) Year 2 students won the 1st runner up at the PwC's HackaDay 2021 - Securing the Cloud "Capture the Flag" (CTF) Cybersecurity Competition held on December 1, 2021 at the Rosewood - Victoria Dockside in Tsimshatsui, HK.

The First runner-up prize covers:
- Three-month internship With PwC Hong Kong’s Cybersecurity & Privacy team or direct entry to PwC’s Superday for final year students
- Half sponsorship of Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification (30-day lab access)
- Full sponsorship for CREST Practitioner Security Analyst (CPSA) examination
Kok Tin Gan, PwC Hong Kong Cybersecurity and Privacy Partner, commented that "Students are working very hard on the competition. Challenges are entirely new every year and they do capture a lot of flags. Web based and cloud related challenges are the most active categories this year. Students are catching up with the emerging technology and the multi-layer of services provided by public cloud platform."
