Five academic staff from the Department of Computer Science were invited to present at the HKU-Huawei Joint Research Workshop held on December 5, 2018 at HKU.
Dr. Heming Cui, Dr. Jia Pan and Dr. Reynold Cheng each made a presentation at the "Focused Session: Artificial Intelligence and Big Data", while Dr. Kenneth K.Y. Wong and Professor Giulio Chiribella each presented at the session on "Computer Vision, Wireless Network, Quantum Communications and Smart City".
This joint research workshop provides a good opportunity for HKU academic and research staff to interact with the Huawei delegation of more than 30 people, and to explore and develop possible research collaborations.
